What is headless commerce, in practice?

The storefront your customers browse and the system holding products, carts and orders are separate. Medusa runs the commerce side and serves it over an API; we build the storefront on top in Next.js, so a redesign never touches your order data.

Can you migrate my existing store to Medusa?
