Accessibility & WCAG Compliance.
Inclusive by design — WCAG 2.2 AA and AAA for everyone.
Start a project →Accessibility is not a checkbox — it is a quality standard. A site that works for someone using a screen reader, keyboard navigation or high-contrast mode is also faster, better structured and easier to maintain. We audit, remediate and test to WCAG 2.2 AA (legal baseline across the EU) or AAA where required, and we leave your team with the knowledge to keep it that way.
— What's included
What we deliver.
WCAG 2.2 audit
Systematic evaluation against all Level A and AA success criteria — and AAA where scoped. Delivered as a prioritised issue log with severity ratings.
Screen reader testing
Manual testing with NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver across Windows, macOS and iOS. Automated tools miss 30–40% of real issues — we do not rely on them alone.
Keyboard navigation
Full keyboard operability: focus order, visible focus indicators, skip links, modal trapping and no keyboard traps. Tested across major browsers.
Colour contrast & visual design
Contrast ratios checked to AA (4.5:1 normal, 3:1 large text) and AAA (7:1) as required. Colour-blindness simulation and non-colour-dependent cues.
ARIA & semantic HTML
Correct landmark regions, heading hierarchy, ARIA labels, live regions and role attributes — the structural layer that assistive technology depends on.
Remediation & developer support
We fix the issues directly in your codebase, or provide annotated guidance for your in-house team — whichever fits your workflow.

— How it works
Our process.
- 01
Scope & baseline
We agree on the conformance target (A, AA or AAA), the pages and flows in scope, and the assistive technologies to test against.
- 02
Automated scan
Axe, Lighthouse and custom scripts surface the quick wins and establish a baseline issue count.
- 03
Manual audit
Screen reader walkthroughs, keyboard-only navigation and visual inspection across the agreed scope. Most real failures surface here.
- 04
Remediation
Issues fixed in priority order — critical blockers first. Each fix is re-tested before being marked resolved.
- 05
Report & sign-off
Conformance report with before/after evidence, outstanding known issues (if any) and a remediation roadmap for future work.
— FAQ
Common questions.
For public sector bodies in the EU it has been mandatory since 2018. The European Accessibility Act (EAA) extends the obligation to many private sector products and services from June 2025. If you serve EU customers, compliance is increasingly a legal requirement, not just best practice.
Level AA is the widely accepted legal and commercial standard — it covers the most common barriers. Level AAA goes further (stricter contrast, no time limits, sign language) and is typically required only for specific government or regulated contexts. We recommend AA as the baseline for most projects.
Usually yes. Most accessibility issues are fixable through targeted code changes — ARIA attributes, focus management, colour tokens, semantic HTML. A full rebuild is rarely needed. We assess the remediation cost honestly in the audit.
Yes. A conformance statement documenting the standard met, known issues and contact details for reporting problems is included in the final deliverable.
