What you can rely on in the guides on this site: where the figures come from, how old they are, who pays for them, and what happens when one is wrong.

Who publishes the guides

The guides under Resources are published by Level UI, a web design and development agency. They are written for people deciding something about a website — what to build, what to pay, what to fix — and they say what we would tell a client asking the same question.

Sources

Every guide ends with a Sources section. A figure, a date, a price or a quote in the text comes from a page listed there, with a note on what that page says.

We prefer the primary source — the company’s own announcement, the regulator’s text, the study itself — over a report about it. When only a report could be reached, the note says so. A claim we cannot verify is left out, not softened.

Dates

Each guide shows the date it was published and, once it has changed, the date it was last updated. Sources carry the date they were checked. Prices, versions and rules move; the date tells you how old the snapshot is.

Independence

We take no payment, commission or free product for anything a guide names, and we use no affiliate links. A guide that compares or names products you could buy carries a disclosure box under its introduction saying exactly that.

When a guide mentions one of our own services or packages, it names it as ours.

What we do not publish

Experiments we did not run, figures we cannot source, and quotes nobody said. When a guide reports a measurement, it says what was measured and how.

Corrections

If something in a guide is wrong or out of date, write to office@levelui.com or use our Support page, and name the guide and the line. We check it against the source, correct it, and move the guide’s update date.
