The cheapest UX and SEO audits in Berlin

Audit prices in Berlin run from nothing to five figures for work that is often described in the same words. Here is what separates the tiers.

An audit is the one purchase where price tells you least about value, because every tier uses identical vocabulary. A €0 automated report and a €4,000 engagement are both sold as "a full technical and UX audit". This is what each tier actually contains in Berlin in 2026, what it is genuinely useful for, and where ours sits — which is at the bottom of the price column, so we will be upfront about the trade.

What an audit costs: market bands, 2026

TierTypical priceWhat you actually get
Level UI — UX or SEO auditFreeA human review of your site with prioritised findings, no obligation
Automated tool reportFreeA crawl and a score. No prioritisation, no judgement about your business
Junior freelancer (0–2 years)€300–700A checklist run by someone still building pattern recognition
Freelance consultant, junior to established€400–600 per dayOne or two days of focused attention, usually one discipline
Senior freelance consultant€600–800 per dayGenuine seniority, and the tier most likely to be worth its price
Agency audit project€800–2,500Technical plus semantic analysis with prioritisation, small to mid-sized site
Agency, full engagement€1,500–8,000+Multiple disciplines, tooling, licences, implementation support

Freelance and agency figures are European market rates for 2026, excluding VAT, from the sources listed below rather than from quotes to any named Berlin firm — audit pricing is rarely published, and inventing a competitor’s number would be worse than a range. Named Berlin agencies and their own published figures are in the next table. Day rates of €700–1,200 are typical where several specialists are involved. Use the bands to sanity-check a quote, not as a price list.

Checked on 11 September 2026, each figure taken from that agency’s own public page. Of seven Berlin agencies offering audits, exactly one publishes a firm number — which is the finding, and the reason the table above is a range. “Not published” is not a criticism: quoting per project is the norm here, and it usually means the price depends on your site rather than on a price list. Prices change; verify before you rely on any of this, and treat the two free entries as what they are — an offer with a commercial motive behind it, ours included.

Why we put ourselves first, and what the catch is

Our UX audit and SEO audit are free, which makes them the cheapest paid-for-attention on this page — and the catch is exactly what you would expect: we do them because some readers become clients. That is the whole business model, stated plainly, and you should weigh it. What it does not mean is a worse audit: findings we soften are findings you would discover later and trust us less for.

What you get is one of our senior people going through your site and writing down what is wrong, in priority order, with no obligation — the same person who would run it as a paid engagement. The free UX audit and the free SEO audit are the same work we would otherwise bill for. We have an office in Berlin and work across all three of our markets, so this is not a remote-only offer — our Berlin contact page has the address.

The free tier that is not an audit

The other free option is an automated tool report, and the distinction matters more than the price. A crawler finds missing alt attributes, slow pages and broken links — real problems, mechanically detected. What it cannot do is tell you which of the 340 issues it found actually costs you money, because it does not know what your site is for.

That is the difference between a scan and an audit. Run the free tools anyway, they are useful and cost nothing. Just do not mistake a long list for a diagnosis: a report that flags everything has, in practice, prioritised nothing.

Where the paid tiers earn their money

A senior consultant at €600–800 a day is usually the best value in this table if you are paying. They have seen your problem before, which is the entire product — the finding you want is the one that comes from recognition, not from a checklist. One or two days buys real depth in a single discipline. Even so, the best value on this page is the free one — and not because it is cheap. Ours is run by the same senior people who would otherwise bill for it, so a paid senior day buys you more hours, not better judgement. Start free, and pay for depth only once the free pass has found something that needs it.

Agency engagements at €1,500–8,000+ buy something different: several disciplines looking at once, tooling and licences you would not buy yourself, and usually help implementing the fixes. That is worth it when the site is large, when technical and content problems are tangled together, or when the finding has to survive a room of stakeholders.

What actually determines the price

Not the word "audit". Four things: how many pages, how many disciplines (technical SEO, content, UX, accessibility, performance), whether you get implementation support or just the document, and whether a person or a tool did the looking. A quote that does not tell you where it sits on those four is not comparable to any other quote.

The most useful question to ask any provider is what they will do if they find nothing serious. A good answer is that they will tell you, and the audit will be short. Anyone who cannot imagine that outcome is selling a document with a predetermined length, and the price of that is whatever you will pay.

Which one you should actually buy

If you have never had a professional look at your site, start with a free one — ours or anyone’s — because the first audit almost always surfaces something obvious, and paying to discover an obvious thing is a poor trade. Once the obvious is handled, a senior day rate is where the depth is.

If you already know roughly what is wrong and need it fixed rather than named, skip the audit and buy the work. Our technical audit is the paid, deeper version when a free pass is not enough, and how much agencies charge puts these numbers in the context of everything else on an invoice.
